Tom Condon
Tom Condon is a former NFL offensive lineman who became one of the most influential agents in football history. A Boston College graduate, he played 12 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Kansas City Chiefs, before earning his law degree during offseasons. Condon served as president of the NFL Players Association from 1984 to 1986, advocating for player rights. As head of CAA Football, he has represented numerous NFL stars, including Peyton and Eli Manning, Drew Brees, and Matthew Stafford, and has negotiated some of the league’s most significant contracts.

Born on October 26, 1952, in Derby, Connecticut, Condon played college football at Boston College before being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1974. He went on to enjoy a 12-year NFL career as an offensive lineman, primarily with the Chiefs and later the New England Patriots. During his playing days, Condon earned a law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and quickly transitioned into athlete representation following his retirement.
Condon’s early legal work and leadership within the NFLPA—where he served as president from 1984 to 1986—positioned him as a trusted advocate for player rights. In the 1990s, he joined International Management Group (IMG), where he built a reputation as a sharp negotiator with a deep understanding of the league’s complex salary cap and contract structures. In 2006, he joined Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where he co-founded CAA Football and helped establish it as a dominant force in player representation.
Over the course of his career, Condon has represented a who’s who of NFL stars, including Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford, J.J. Watt, and many others.
